Whole Foods used to be our go-to place for fried chicken until three weeks ago when we decided that it’s over. Several attempts and several times of going to WF for fried chicken and leaving empty-handed forced us to end that relationship and look for a new one. As the saying goes… there are plenty of fishes in the sea. Amending that saying… there are plenty of fried chicken in the restaurant industry. And Ezell’s Famous Chicken is worthy of its fame. Hopefully, never infamy of any sort.
We discovered Ezell’s using the internets. Thank goodness for the world wide webiverse (thanks for that notable description, Mr. Morgendorffer), otherwise, how else would we find good fried chicken.
I haven’t been to other Ezell’s chickeneries (chicken + eateries) but the Woodinville Ezell’s has no booths, tables, or chairs. Don’t expect to dine in. However, getting your chicken is as simple as walking in, choosing from the menu, making an order, waiting, paying, and then walking out with your mouthwatering fried chicken takeout. In the privacy of your home, you can enjoy your potentially heart-stopping meal. Surely, it’s not new news that anything fried and fatty is tasty but unhealthy. Think about it though, in appropriate quantities, it doesn’t have to be. So don’t be afraid, live on the edge, and have a fried chicken.

Chronic Cravings 
Their spicy chicken with some Louisiana hot sauce (http://www.louisianapepper.com/) on it is great. Their mashed potatoes are worth a pass in order to try their fried okra.
